Color me confused: At 20:44 you say that the Black church is warning the White church that the GENUINE Church is NOT a Social Club or Political Organization or a Cultural Identity. However, at 5:20 you describe the historic Black church as a Community Center and School and Credit Union and a Political Organizing Base ! I'm guessing this means that the Black church is warning the White church not to go down the same path taken by the Black church?
Must be a little depressing to publish only negative stories about Christianity. Wonder what your real motive is.

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT❤. This is not about the Black church or the White church. This about people in general desperately searching for a deeper relationship with God. My husband is the preacher of the church we go to, and I am an Artistic Theologn. I grew up in black and white churches. I can honestly say that what you said is the absolute truth. We lived in Oklahoma, the Bible belt, as my husband went to college. We visited so many different churches, and we got to know everyone in the area. One day, some church leaders ask us to stay after church to have a little meeting. We didn't know why until the church was empty. They then tell us that they are losing the young people to other churches, and they wanted to know how to keep the youth at that church. I knew what was going on we the youth. I told them exactly what the youth wanted and needed. You covered many of those things in this video. I told them that the youth is looking for community and so on. I will never forget that they laughed a little and said, "All they need is the Bible." I pushed back and said,"You are already giving them the Bible with a lot of extra. If what you said is the truth, that all they need is the Bible, the Church would be packed, but it's not." I told them."God cares for the whole person and, If you always did what you always done, you will always get what you always got. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results." Me and my husband left feeling really sad. That whole area of Churches that we attended they was ALL competing for young people. So it turned into a competition for young people and that led to the churches fighting with each other. The youth saw this and were totally turned off. Heck, I was a youth at that time, and I was turned off. Then I saw the preachers performing with their sermons. I wanted to know Christ. Not about demons and dragons 😂 (very long story). My point is that the older Christians thought that all the youth were looking for was only to be entertained, and this blinded them to see the truth underneath it all. The youth was looking for a community. A place to belong, AND most importantly, they simply wanted Jesus. I have seen with my own eyes that many of the churches were placing stiff arbitrary rules and said that if you don't follow these rules, you won't be considered faithful. It wasn't about following Christ it was about following them. So I understand why the youth is looking for other alternatives. This is part of their Christian walk between them and God. IT'S NOT about the numbers of attendants. It's about simply following God, and if they are sincere in the searching, God will guide them where they need to be. I don't have to push them our way. My husband and I started a new congregation because a group of us wanted to focus on the meat of God's word. Sadly, if I wasn't a part of this Church I honestly wouldn't go at all. I would want to worship online. I want to follow Christ and not some man made rules. What you said is true, and from my experience, I can understand why they want to leave. Why should they stay? The black churches are building more churches but not inspiring home ownership or business creation, and not providing the knowledge on how to navigate the modern crisis.
Many "African Americans" are waking up to their true identity and are leaving the institutional churches. They want to return to the ways of the Holy Scriptures without the influence of Western Christianity that is embedded in white supremacy.
Another reason why the black church is splitting is because a lot of black believers is running to white churches thinking they're better
The decline in religious affiliation among black generations is similar the the decline among the same white generations. If you had compared black rates to white rates within generations, I suspect you might be more optimistic. My own observation is that christian affiliation is stronger among blacks than whites.
I totally agree. I attend a black church and became a member last February. From the moment that I entered, I felt like family. I now teach Sunday School. I am a Baptist Pastor and reside in Georgia.

People are going back to their roots, and no one's roots are Christianity. No one is being forced by society to go somewhere on their days off to a place they don't believe because they actually read the old testament and realize it's a book of wars anymore.
