This equates to 1 in 35,686 people in that London hot spot area — reducing to 1 in 100,000 when you look at the country as a whole. The well documented reason that acid because a weapon of choice for some in the UK is because of the strict gun and knife laws that exist there. If you compare that to the number of Americans killed by firearms each year (around 49,000 out of a population of 342,000,000) you get 1 in just 6979. And that figure is just for injuries relating in death — which most of the 255 acid attacks did not result in. The information is shocking enough, but when outright lies are presented in something pretending to be a documentary then the value of the 'documentary' goes immediately to 0. If you want to present fiction, make a film. Maybe one with Dragons. That would be cool…
