The lack of awareness, the massively irresponsible behaviour and the many lapses in judgement are mind-boggling. This story, as many other documentaries of exotic performers, entertainers or ‘private zoo’ holders is a clear indication that there needs to be a ban on the possession of wild animals. They belong in the wilderness, especially predators, and if not possible, threy should be held in public reservations and natural parks. This is just sad.
I love how fearless "some" people are.
Having wild animals as pets, is like having a time bomb that's ticking 🤣😂
@39:57 I said, “What?! There’s more horror to come?! What can top what just happened?”😳 Then came the coup de grâce 😔
Crazy story and especially fascinating re the white tiger in breeding issues.
Makes me furious how people keep wild animals as pets!
Those who were killed really deseved it! Sorry to say…
This was another era, but anyway people still have them, its a big shame…

This story is heartbreaking because it never tries to paint the tigers as villains. Ron and Joy clearly loved their animals deeply, and you can feel that every decision they made came from genuine affection rather than cruelty. At the same time, the documentary is a powerful reminder that love doesn't erase instinct. The scenes describing Chuck and Joy's final moments were incredibly difficult to watch, especially knowing how much they cared for those cats. It's one of those rare documentaries that leaves you feeling compassion for both the people and the animals. Did anyone else come away thinking that respecting wildlife sometimes means accepting that they should never be treated like family pets?
People can be so misguided…animals are not humans…and wild animals are wild!!
No-one is talikng about the wig. How can no-one mention the wig? My eyes. I cannot un-see it!
Why ANYONE pays to watch this animal cruelty in progress is beyond me. The paying audience is contributing to this human greed, their big egos and paying them handsomely.
These people are sick in the head, yes it's instinct but it also frustrating these cats don't deserve to in these cages and being cruel. These animals need to be in the wild and not put in small cages. Not happy. ☹️😣
When your sweet-natured housecat gets cranky and scratchy it can be painful, but you just pick him up and put him out. Maybe need a band-aid. Folks, just say no to tigers.
They had no respect for this poor animal…
Sad for the tigers and the humans. Wild animals are WILD and they are NOT pets! How many old tigers were put to sleep? They were robbed of their lives!
He is still in denial. He thinks the danger can only be attributed to a single tiger. The danger is actually his human vulnerability. He will always be a prey to a tiger.
