Thank you for including our founder, Givonna Joseph, in this
@24:13 Agreed, and it's also unlikely that Dolly is consciously working out the 12th root of 2 as well (just for the record…)
Calling this a history is a bit misleading, you went straight from Pythagoras to Bach, who surely wrote more for mean and well-tempered instruments — equal temperament didn't really catch on until later. You've not done "Sumer is icumen in" yet! I may forgive you for the insight that the Pythagorean comma is a direct result of trying to reconcile 3^m != 2^n.
Very good documentary. A great mix between entertainment and education. Greetings from Berlin. 👋🏻
This really is a Super documentary series. I appreciate the science and maths, but the final song went straight to the heart.
Needs more promotion guys! Also a better thumbnail 🩵
Looking forward to more contents!
Superb. Mind meltingy addictive stuff. But best of all makes you want to grab your instrument of choice and start making noise…..
I'm enjoying the series so far, but had to laugh when the presenters refer to some genres potentially annoying the listener, only for one of them to repeatedly lapse into the awful fashion of making a statement sound like a question by raising the pitch at the end. Now that IS bloody annoying!
Brilliant! Just brilliant! Thank you so much.
Fabulous documentary — enjoyed it all. I'm wondering now why the likes of Albert Ayler and Thelonious Monk (who play all the 'wrong' notes) are such a joy to listen to?
really enjoying this series 💖😀
This is brilliant. Nice one.
