Always thought Moses was mistreated by God over one moment of weakness.

How exactly were the disciples able to tell those 2 men were Moses and Elijah?
No one ever identifies them, and the disciples had no idea what they looked like, and as far as we know, those were theie shadows only (they had not resurrected yet).

Based on scriptural evidence, l always knew Luke was far more precise than the other 3 gospel writers; which is another reason l believe the Holy Spirit chose him to pen the book of Acts. And 1500 years ater Moses request to enter Canaan was denied, the Lord, in this measure, answered His servant's prayer. However, l believe that Moses and Elijah were chosen to stand with Jesus on "the holy mount"—Mount Horeb/Mount Sinai (2 Peter 1:18) in witness of His great sacrifice. In the contest between Michael the Archangel (1 Thessalonians 4:16/Revelation 12:7/Daniel 12:1) and Satan over the body of Moses (Jude 9)—good vs. evil—the Lord won because Satan claimed that the dead were his property. That's why the Bible said that death reigned from Adam to Moses" (Romans 5:14). Moses was resurrected, as is obvious from his presence at the Transfiguration . David, under the same old covenant, was "both dead and buried", and "is not ascended into the heavens" (Acts 2:29,34). Moses and Elijah shared similar experiences to Christ in that all 3 of them had something in common. All 3 were burdened for rebellious lsrael. All 3 faced overwhelming discouragement during severe trial. All 3 fasted 40 days. All 3 had been in heaven (Moses 1500 years, Elijah 800 years, Jesus from everlasting). Enoch, though in heaven, was long centuries before lsrael existed. He was not fully qualified to comfort Jesus "of His decease which He should accomplish at Jerusalem" (Luke 9:31).

So Jesus went up the mount and met with Moses and Elijah, and then the voice of God from the sky came . So the one who was not seen was Abraham and so The Spirit made Abraham to be the Father of Many Nations and Father of Israel, with the mystery that God is a "CONSUMING FIRE" and so Abraham in Heaven is the FATHER IN HEAVEN that Jesus spoke of and discerned the SPIRIT OF GOD as distinct. This testifies to the Holy Trinity that God is as SPIRIT a CONDITION that prevails over any and all who come under the SPIRIT and are consumed. In Exodus 7:1 God says to Moses "See now Moses I have made you to be YAHWEH GOD to Pharoah and Aaron is your Prophet ". So under the anointing , the recipient of the indwelling Spirit of GOD is then GOD. So Jesus is God , by the SPIRIT FORMED IN THE MAN ( ZECHARIAH 12 ) and so if so, then all who are called by God to enter Heaven and take part in the Eternal Spirit, they are all GOD ,and thus worship of Jesus is not Idolatry, because only that which lacks the SPIRIT indwelling is an Idol .
