Because they had no fuel and air cover
They ran out of effen gas McFly
Background music Too LOUD can't hear the narrative. Half-tack/Half-wit!
Biggest tank battles … forever remembered as Battle of Budlge … All US propaganda, not a historical facts
Also Tiger Royale does not exist. Its Konig Tiger or Tiger II, its not McDonalds
The allies were superior. The Germans were untermenschen.
The 76mm could pop a tiger from the front at 4-500m.
The germans didn't break through everywhere. Most attacks like at st Vith went to the USA, holding up or slowing the volksgrenadiers.
German tanks were horribly unreliable most just had to breakdown on their own. Or falling through bridges helped. :-/
But to change the engine of a sherman took 3 hours at the front; a tiger had to be towed/railroaded back to Germany.
Also why cross several rivers and go 200 miles through the ardennes when the Canadian front was a mere 50 miles from Antwerp.
Makes me wonder what OKW was thinking.
Music is annoying af. Can't watch it.
Tanks need gas. Big tanks need roads. Complicated tanks break down. All tanks hate airplanes.
PLEASE RE-POST MINUS THE MUSIC AND SOUND EFFECTS. THIS IS UNWATCHABLE.
German tanks were extremely complicated and couldn't easily be repaired in the field. Fuel was always an issue for German armored units as well.
Because they ruin out of oil and gas and when the weather clear the American Air Force destroyed the German tanks and it’s military and the German Air Force almost win the battle of the bulge but they were defeated do to more American air planes
Several reasons. One, the obvious, they ran out of gas. But also, and a reason they ran out of gas, was that allied resistance was much stiffer than they expected. In some cases they had to go around areas they thought they could go through. They didn’t meet most of their goals in distance and time, because of the resistance. That led them to run out of gas.
The entire push was unrealistic. It never could have succeeded.
How do you run out of gas? Were the Nazis stoopid?
Comparing a 70 ton verse a 32 ton tank is comparing watermelons to peas. The Sherman was an excellent MEDIUM tank! MEDIUM! Watch the Chieftan’s Hatch video on the Sherman tank and myths of American armor in WW2. The Sherman was literally a war winning tank. German tanks broke down more often than they fought. Doesn’t matter how good your tank can be if it doesn’t show up to the fight!
