This case makes me so angry. I know trials can’t be conducted from a gut feeling alone but my immediate gut feeling was that Rodney is innocent and Jimmy, the terrible cop, is guilty.
I usually fall on the side of law enforcement, my dad was a cop but this time I truly feel Jimmy is corrupt, along with his cop buddies who helped him. They should all be in jail for life and the state should let Rodney out and pay him a substantial amount of money.
To be honest right of the bat the Police department where Jimmy worked should have stepped away from the and given it to the State Police because of conflict of interest.
Strange she was working extra shifts to have her not so perfect marriage.
She was attracted to creepy men… not surprising they both ended up in jail.😂😂
Thank you Ty for all your true crime stories ❤i just hyped this video 👍‼️💙
My nephew and niece live in Bastrop Texas

Rodney needs a chance at a new trial. Nothing worse than corrupt cops. Sounds like this was a frame job
Unbelievable that Stacey still had a relationship before her wedding.
I don't like victim shaming. But Stacey brought this fate on herself
That was back when gettin a DiggaNick on the side became popular!!!!…☝️🤣🤣🤣🤣
Slandering the victim? Cool. There was no affair and Rodney did rape and murder her
Ole girl sure knew how to pick them
1st story, justied or no wrong doing
The cop did it. He knows exactly how to work the system
Isnt being in law enforcement a beautiful thing
The thin blue line im sure has terrible secrets
Was this murder in 1986 or 1996
Why does Rodney look like JayZ?
Creepy
I hope the innocence project takes this case. At least to get the belt and other items tested for dna 🧬.
I think it’s pretty obvious Rodney did it. The narration is slanted, but if you can look past the theatrics; they got the right man
That's what happens when ya take a walk on the dark side.
why sleep with someone while planning for your wedding…?
Nah, Rodney should not be on death row. There’s way too many questions.
IMO, he deserves a new trial.
Excellent work , Ty. I’m very interested in this case now. I can’t believe all of Rodney’s appeals have been denied.
My sympathy to Stacy’s loved ones.
If I were them , I’d want the right person in prison.
This whole thing is just gross. This girl needed a dad really badly.

The only thing that gets me is why the cop fiance's friends DNA was at the crime scene on those beer cans. ?
😢
I personally don't feel bad about Rodney being in prison. They both need to be in prison for the rest of their lives. They're both awful people 😭
I've never trusted cases where the only evidencce is DNA. There was a man charged with murder due to DNA. While looking into his case, his attorneys discovered that he had been in the hospital during the time the murder took place. What occured was the murder victim and he were transported in the same ambulance and there was DNA transference. My gut tells me Rodney did not murder Stacey Stites.
I can answer at least one question. The belt was not tested for DNA because at that time they could not have the technology to get DNA off of that type of surface. The belt was handled by so many people at the trial that it was hopelessly corrupted You should not have assumed that they were having an affair they were not. The secret affair defense was also used by Rodney at his first rape trial a couple of years earlier. A second round of DNA testing was done a few years later and it found Reeds DNA on her skin and clothing meaning she had not showered or changed clothes in the 48 hours since they had supposedly had consensual sex.
I almost forgot. The beer can story has been debunked his friends DNA was not on them.
