3. This is real. We hear the stories of these woman, who went through the struggles of war and slavery. We remember the deaths of their families and abused. We remember those who disassociated during captivity and were considered crazy when reintroduced to white society. We remember the taking of names and religions. We remember the strength of these women, even when broken, even when adopted by native populations. We remember attempts to reintegrate them into white society. We remember how the women stayed connected to the natives spiritually and that their energy was divided between their new lives and their former. We remember.

   I grew up in new mexico. I have heard non disneyfied storys about the slaves the different bands of apatche took. We all need to step back and understand both sides did things that were cruel.
   Now in this century we can take the time to admite the good we find in each other. Judge the indavidual not the nation. One person at a time only then can ee become some thing new and syronger. Right now we all are Americans, we were born here and love our home.

8. Propaganda. There is two sides then there's the truth. Only a fool takes the word of a known liar. The settlers were murderers and thieves back then just like today.
   Apache isn't even their name it's a racist slur.
