5. This is all absolutely insane to me. Technically, he should never have gone to prison.

   But the jury judges using their feelings, not based on technical evidence.

   This process has always had a technical problem with the proves.

   I don't know if he did this. Isn't possible to know this. This information isn't in that trail.

   What you all feel when he says something is irrelevant to a murder trial.
   "I don't feel any truth in your words"
   "He's lying" — based on what? In what you feel??
   ""He was cheating on her" — irrelevant. It's murder, being cheated on doesn't kill anyone.

   The fact that he sat on other men is not at all the conduct of a murderer.

   What did he do? What actions did he take that directly caused her death?
   This was not adequately proven in that trial.

   Crime = the commission of an unlawful, culpable, and punishable.
   It's Zafarolli.

   Unlawful act: intentional or negligent conduct, directed towards a purpose (causal link) and the occurrence of the result.

   According to Zaffaroli's theory, it was not possible to determine what conduct was committed by the accused.

   Without conduct, there is no unlawful act committed; without an unlawful act, the essential elements for a fact to be considered a crime are not fulfilled.

   They should have played bingo. The bingo cards would have shown the actions the prosecution believed he might have committed. All you had to do was spin some balls, and whoever filled their card first would be condemned for all the actions on the card. All committed at the same time. It doesn't matter.
   None of the alleged conduct was reasonably proven.
   So any of them will do, as long as he's convicted. Because the prosecutor's political career NEEDS it at any cost.

   Is he innocent? I don't know!

   To put him in prison, I should have known better. Everyone should be sure of that.

   I don't think there's any certainty whatsoever in this judgment on the part of the prosecution.

   I defend the process. Justice. The law. The integrity of the judicial system. Not a person.

   Trust in the judicial system has been corrupted in this case.

   Believe me. You don't want this to become commonplace.

18. Es la obra maestra de un narcisista extremadamente creativo, venenoso y frío. Nunca le importo mas nada que ser el centro de atención y quien redirigiera a otro punto esa atención era un enemigo. Las personas para él son su móvil para un fin totalmente egoísta y descarta a quien no quiera ser parte de él. Sostuvo la narrativa y obnubila a todos los que están a su alrededor para que creyeran sus mentiras. Es impresionante cómo viven dos realidades paralelas como si fueran verdades perfectamente construidas y resignificadas para su beneficio. Y lo logro. Está libre a pesar de ser un asesino narcisista, mitomano y cruel. Son los peores. Dios nos libre de ellos.

Hay un detalle que se omite en esta película que sale en Netflix de la escena donde èl cuenta donde hablaron afuera cuando la película que veían en la sala termina y salen a beber, Mike dice, a penas sale… hablamos "AQUI" horas y cuando el clima está lindo, en algunas ocasiones vamos a la piscina. (ese aquí no era la piscina eran las mesas de la terraza contigua a la puerta) En esta peli eso se CORTA Y EDITA!. Lo que me lleva a pensar que él se pisa solo, o se contradice ¿donde es que el estaba o ellos estaban esa noche y al momento de su caída? Además, nadie puede corroborar que estuvieran en la piscina previamente a no ser por él y su historia, que como mensione, tiene inconsistencias visibles. La cercanía del lugar cambiaría la percepción de lo que él sí pudo haber escuchado a ella pidiendo ayuda ante el "posible accidente". Raro y una mentira conveniente más. Conclusión…. la mató pero jamás lo reconocerá, porque en su cabeza siempre habrá una nueva historia que lo dejara "estratégicamente bien parado"

33. This answers nothing. I admit these wounds looks like a beating. But I’m not a forensic expert- but then I heard about this attack from an awl . And they did find some feathers in her hair. Try and look at the claws of some of these awls. The kind of awls we are talking about are known for their territorial behavior and aggression especially in mating season. These wounds looks like claws and if this is correct then we are condemning an innocent person!. Why they haven’t done more about this- I don’t get. Then I saw the behavior panel and they were crystal clear of he was guilty. But if I had beaten my wife in that way I would never think I would get away with this. So was she attacked by an awl and fell down the stairs with deep cuts after these claws- or did he beat her. Because she wanted a divorce after she found out he was bisexual. Actually we will never know- but his defense team should have experienced enough to know if arguably wasn’t especially innocent. Said short we will never know. Another reason for not having capital punishment. We barely have that in Europe and people aren’t running around with guns as a rule.

38. Absolutely positive that he murdered her. The blood spatter and the injuries are NOT from falling. Ridiculous to try to convince a jury. If I was on the jury I would be insulted that the defence was trying to make me believe she fell and cracked her head open that many times and the blood spatter just flew up the walls from banging her head. He most likely murdered his first wife as well.

40. I have no problem with bi-sexuality or any personal sexual choice. What I do have a problem with is being deceitful about it. If his wife didn’t know and found out about this and it threatened his reputation, at what lengths would he go? Only God will know for sure, but in my opinion he’s a Scumbag fraud and a disgusting piece of work.

44. I have absolutely NO DOUBT that Michael Peterson killed Kathleen. I believe that the Prosecution got it EXACTLY right. Unfortunately, an SBI agent did some unethical research and misrepresented the findings of said research. That practice cannot be allowed to stand in a court of law. It pains me that MP was freed on this technicality, but better that a GUILTY man go free than to allow unethical practices to stand. Rest in peace Kathleen Peterson. The world knows there was no “fall” in that staircase. There was no flagrant barn owl scratching at your scalp. Michael bludgeoned you repeatedly on that small staircase landing and waited while you bled profusely and ultimately died. There’s not a single doubt in my mind that he is guilty of this heinous crime. He will eventually meet his ultimate judge and his penalty will be much stiffer and unrelenting. He will have no appeals or technicalities to save him from his just reward. I hope he finds his conscience before his death and at least tells Kathleen’s story….the TRUE story.
