How does a set of lakes connected to the ocean not have a resupply. I love in northern upper peninsula and in the ten years since I've been back we had one year of heavy snow in 2016-17 and the lakes flooded in spring. Since then the weather has dropped nearly 8 ft since 2017.

Curious if Nestle is still selling huge volumes of fresh water from Great Lakes to China where they were dumping in into the land trying to bolster/improve their low water table. They used to buy it by the tankes full for that very purpose, but laws were passed they were only permitted to sell the water in bottled form, but continued to do so for the same purpose. Not sure if that still goes on today or not really. I sure hope not.
