I've been to India numerous times Mumbi and enjoyed every time. An interesting place of extreme wealth and extreme poverty that one wouldn't believe unless you see it for yourself. Seriously DO NOT eat street food or drink the water unless you are prepared to sit on the toilet for the duration of your stay. Bottled water is Safe and most restaurants are also quite safe. If you were to adhere to these two DO NOTS you will definitely enjoy your stay. the people are amazing, friendly and very helpful. i made some great friends there and am still in contact with them to this day.

The facts are it will be like this until the entire government is overhauled, until the caste system is gone, because as it stands the vast majority of civilians are not only dirt poor but zero education and its why you see certain traditions continue on and certain issues remaining in India because they genuinly dont know better, believe what theyre told, and survive-not live. The government of course is educated and they know when the entirety of the civilian population is educated they turn into, um, us. They become harder to control. They dont want that, of course. People make fun of them but they are very sweet people, kind, theyare just ignorant but thats not their fault and I hate to see anyone make fun of them or anyone else for that matter. Thats the issue, not a religious one, faith, spiritual, none of that. Every single culture had beliefs like that in the beginning but as a society became educated certain beliefs, old wives tales, and myths arent believed anymore because science, math, or biology proved that thought process wrong. They never had those moments. I really hope one day they do.
