There was a few Japanese soldiers that didn’t surrender until the 1970’s. They were on one of the islands in caves Ì believe. They never got any word the war was over and were that fanatical about the Emperor. I was a kid I remember hearing that story on TV 📺 ole school. The citizens of Japan cheered them. Soooo I’m guessing the citizens never gave up there beliefs. Come the 70’s many things in the USA said made in Japan. It was not well received by Veterans.
They got smart. They realized that money 💰 wins wars. So they got into the money 💰 game instead of back into Military. They bought what they wanted instead of kill people and take it . In my own humble opinion 😊
