  1. was expecting more deep dive into the song itself, how the girls commented on the songs (reference Spice Magazine etc), the song writer's comments, lyrics, sales, chartings, release formats, live performances… but then again, it focuses heavily on Geri's departure, which you had already made an entire video about it.

  2. Viva Forever is truly one of the most beautiful ballads in the Spice Girls' discography, Geri's departure adds more depth to the song's wistfulness and melancholic nature, making it an emotional and bittersweet listen, the music video's amazing, love all the memorabilia, if there's one thing our girls can do is promote their singles well 😂 Is it my favourite song? I do love it, it showed a different side of the group and put many of the critics on their asses haha, Too Much is definitely my favourite slow Spice number as well as Holler and their R&B-influenced tracks, nonetheless there's no taking away from what an utter masterpiece Viva Forever is 😍

  3. Fantastic video as always. Some incredibly fascinating information. Can you tell us more about how you acquired the Australian Geri single? Keep up the great content. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏

  4. One of my fave Spice Girls songs and one of my fave of all time. It was a slight bittersweet single. It had already come out months after Geri left and felt like the perfect goodbye until Goodbye the single came out. Never Give Up On The Good Times was absolutely planned as a single and I have the radio edit of it. I won’t say how I have it, but it is a lot shorter. It would have made the perfect accompaniment to Viva Forever if Geri had stayed in the band.

  5. I remember like it was yesterday. I was in love with the Spice girls. They were the one thing that brought me the most joy at the time, and Geri leaving really was devastatring. It did feel like a breakup

  6. Thank u so much for this amazing video, I’ve always cherish to watch your brilliant videos.
As for viva forever is one my favourite tracks of the girls, but interesting, when I got the album, it was my Christmas gift in 1997, I’ve always skipped this track, I don’t know, maybe I was too young to understand the meaning of the song and I thought it was too long too, so I’ve always skipped it. When the video came out I absolutely adore it, so every time MTV played I was mesmerised, stopped everything I was doing to watch it, so the song grew on me.
Anyway, I wish they kept the tittle “Obrigado” cos as a Brazilian, would mean so much to have a portuguese tittle track. 🙂

  7. I still wonder why Geri was so selfish, leaving the band, in that way and at that moment. Clearly she wanted a solo career. She could have achieved that, in a more dignified way.

  8. This is the last that is to be played at my funeral right after the acapella version of One Sweet Day by Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men.
Yes I know those are 2 brutal songs to do to people at a funeral but it's what I want to go out to!
