We know that the state Supreme Court has upheld each of these sentences. Otherwise they wouldn’t be included.
We know that each sentence has been stayed because this happens in every single case. Even if the defendant doesn’t want it to be stayed a lawyer will file an application anyway. These are almost always initially granted.
I think this is obvious to most people. But if you must include it I suggested this introduction: “Every conviction has been upheld and every case was granted an initial stay.”
This way you could include more pertinent information rather than being so repetitious.
If you must tell us how long they’ve been on death row, then okay. The problem is 1) most of us I think can do the math from the date of conviction and 2) a year from now your number will be wrong.
