Phobos is nature's spacestation.
It's about time somebody did a video on Phobos. Alot of us have been talking about this for years but not many people in the exploration community have been listening. It is far far less expensive to maintain an outpost in orbit than on the planet, not to mention the danger factor of delivering payloads to the surface.
Too bad the video neglects the presence of water on Phobos. There likely is hundreds of billions of tons, and that sounds like alot. But if the program involves tapping this supply as rocket fuel, using the moon as a flying gas station for trips to the surface or back to Earth, even this much water probably won't last long. The managers should consider conserving this supply for the maintenance of the outpost instead.
