8. Brilliant interview. I recently read a book about boarding schools and it sounded brutal, lots of homosexuality and bullying. I had the lowest attendance in my year at public school of 37% and I never had to stay overnight. No chance I would have been going to boarding school, I would have run to France like that psycho Blair.

9. Thanks Ben and Richard. I feel for all the victims, but for Ben in particular because of the decision his parents made in keeping one twin and casting the other out 🤷
   I aim to watch the film, it's extraordinary to think that the boarding school system was created to traumatise through abuse.
   No wonder the country's in a mess, and this is only one piece of the puzzle.

10. I detest the idea of boarding schools. Parents who just don’t want their children, except when it’s convenient. Pure cruelty.

Regarding the " Bliar back story " , I'm fairly certain that it's been fabricated so as to present him as a bit of a rebel that's miles away from the establishment selected construct that he appears to be. I understand why people don't want to look any deeper into these things because it's pretty bloody disturbing stuff, but like it's been said many times, once you've seen behind the curtains you can't not see or ignore it. 15. Thank you for this. A psycho-emotional analysis of our situation is long over due. The danger of externalising the evil to demons and aliens, which is a common trope, is that we remain helpless victims. Rather if we recognise that our sick cultural paradigm is rooted in our armouring ego's and our unwillingness to own our own shadow selves, we can choose to heal and become responsible self regulating beings. From that place, even if there are demons, they will have little to feed from and will wither away. It's like the difference between "germ theory" and terrain theory…..

16. Great episode and wonderful that Ben is using his experience to support and help others. I can absolutely have empathy for the children they were, but equally I have disgust for the adult they have chosen to be. Great work from you both, thank you.

17. One thing people might not like to hear is, they aren't paid enough to be good. The salary of MP's isnt high enough to justify the pressure, it wont attract the best people, just those who are easily compromised by bribes and payoffs to do the bidding of corporations and foreign nations. Not saying we should pay more, I think the system needs to be replaced with more decentralized power structures, so that corruption of the system is less possible. Let's get rid of the MP's and house of lords system and have more localized power and decision making.
