The plan, as outlined, sounds entirely feasible and fits with Speer's abilities to think ahead, as clearly shown in his efforts to keep the Nazi armaments programme ongoing, despite the destruction inflicted on German industry by Allied bombing. Just how long he could have avoided capture in Greenland is open to question and I doubt it would have much delayed his appearance at Nuremburg.
