  1. Long ago I went to a little museum in a Sears Craftsman’s house in the little town near by it. Guadalupe? I was the only one there and the lady host offered to show me a rough cut of a guys quest to find where the first Ten Commandments was filmed. Will this be about that?

  2. I would have paid anything to see that I wish it had been kept as an attraction, the 1956 the ten commandments was the first movie I watched in the theatre just 2 months short of my fourth Birthday, there has never been anything as wonderful as that film and there never will be Thank You MR. DeMille and his family who help keep his story alive

  3. I’ve never heard of Guadalupe and I have lived in Southern California my whole life, almost 34 years. My mom has lived 70 years in SoCal and she’s never heard of the city either. It really must be super small.

  4. As a multi generational son of the Central Coast who grew up near this location, the interviews with the old ranchers are almost more important and valuable than the subject matter. These are local/Central California legends in their own right. All of them are founding personalities of the Central Coast and have schools and streets and housing projects etc. named after them.
Ps, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties are absolutely notorious for their permitting processes. They absolutely will rake you over the coals/barrel. Coastal Commission is quite possibly the worst entity you would ever want to interact with.
